By setting the Lam´e coefficients corresponding to the coordinates at the middle surface of the shell to unit and the two principal radii of the middle surface of the shell to infinity, the shell theory can directly be degenerated into the plate theory. In numerical examples, the magnetoelectric effects of laminated multiferroic structures are evaluated using the established structural theories.
