32 also shows bright-field electron micrographs and selected-area electron diffraction patterns of bulk alloys extruded at Te=673 K and R=5, Te=693 K and R=5, and Te=693 K and R=4. It is seen that the extruded bulk alloys consist of a single amorphous phase under the first two conditions and amorphous and crystalline phases under the third condition. Inoue pattern typical of embrittled amorphous alloys was seen over the entire fracture surface. The features of the fracture surface indicate that the cast bulk amorphous alloy has good ductility leading to severe deformation even in the impact fracture mode. In addition, secondary failures were observed and a change in the appearance of the fracture surface from an equiaxed dimple-like pattern to a vein pattern occurred near the failures.
